Letterpress with Anthony Burrill

Graphic artist, printmaker and designer Anthony Burrill is best known for his bold typographic, text-based compositions. His persuasive and to the point style of communication has lead his work to be held in the permanent collections of the V&A in London and Cooper-Hewitt in New York, as well as having exhibited at galleries around the world including the Barbican Art Gallery, the Walker Art Center and the Design Museum, London.

We’re super excited to be able to offer an intimate letterpress workshop with Anthony, giving you the chance to learn how to typeset and takeaway your very own Burrill inspired printed poster.

During this 4 hour workshop you will:

• Learn how to set typeset for letterpress
• Construct your own words and phrase to set for print
• Create a collaborative poster of words and phrases formed by the group
• Take away your very own letterpress printed poster!
